When will it be possible to travel with Hyperloop?
We intend to start with cargo transportation within the next 5 years and human passengers within the next 10 years, depending on regulatory approval.

Is Hyperloop sustainable?
Sustainability and renewability are at the heart of Hyperloop - through the use of magnetic levitation and electric motors for propulsion, direct carbon emissions can be driven down to zero.
What is the cost of building a full-scale Hyperloop system?
Almost all of the cost lies in the construction of the infrastructure. By focusing on packaging all technology into the pod itself, we will minimize the complexity and therefore the cost of the infrastructure.
Has Hyperloop technology been tested or validated yet?
Hyperloop is still in the R&D phase around the world and is being researched by many companies including Swisspod, with its infinite-trajectory testing facility in Switzerland, as well as Virgin Hyperloop with its test site in Nevada.
How fast is it?
The autonomous electric pod travels free of air resistance at speeds of over 700 km/h (or 430 mph), with a maximal velocity close to the speed of sound (about 1200 km/h or 760 mph). Final operation speeds will depend on use cases for this modular technology.

Hyperloop is a fully-electric contactless transportation system enabled by magnetic levitation that consists of an autonomous electric pod floating at sonic speeds in a low-pressure environment.

Yes, our Hyperloop system is equipped with safety exits and safe havens. In an emergency, sound safety procedures will be followed to evacuate passengers/cargo efficiently and securely.

The autonomous operation of the Hyperloop system mitigates key risks associated with human error. Moreover, the robust, isolated and low-pressurized environment makes it immune to adverse weather conditions.
